First of all, thanks for your response!  Our Ranchos primos have been really quiet with me lately :-)
Well, I really don't know.  My finds have been amazing though because my grandfather was born out of wedlock, my dad didn't know anything about his family.  I started putting the pieces together with the help of the 1930 census we recently got access to.
This is the thread:
Grandfather: Pedro Gomez, born in Juchipila, Zacatecas out of wedlock in 1893.
Great grandfather: Juan Gomez, born in Moyahua, Zacatecas in 1866... married to Angela Benavides (real wife).
GG grandfather: Toribio Gomez, born in Yahualica, married to Regina de Luna in Ystlahuacan del Rio, Jalisco.
GGG grandfather: Juan Gomez, married to Maria de Jesus Carrillo in Jalos.
GGGG grandfather: Francisco Gomez, married to Ana Quiteria de Agredano.

I'm not sure which rancho or anything!

Gomez are Gomez Hurtado de Mendoza or Gomez de Portugal.  I've been
researching my paternal Gomez line, and it is Gomez Hurtado de Mendoza.
If it's the same, then maybe we can compare lines and see where your
Francisco Gomez might tie in.  Also do you have a Rancho for your Gomez?
