I am finding references to a marriage between Juan Padilla Davila and Antonia Martin del Campo in several places. The date given is 25 abril 1705, either in Jalostotitlan or San Juan de los Lagos. I am having trouble finding the record for the matrimony because neither Jalostotitlan nor San Juan de los Lagos have books for marriages that early. Does anyone know where I need to look? Juan used many different surnames
I believe, it may be mixed in the Jalostotitlán records or San Juan de los Lagos. I descend from Juan de Padilla y Dávila and Antonia Martín del Campo through their daughter Rosa de Padilla y Dávila. She was married on 10 Feb 1732 in Jalostotitlán to Joseph González de Rubalcaba, they are my seventh great grandparents through my father.
